Alerion, Mother Nature's Gift

Alerion is a environment concept piece i wanted to make for my 3D character, Haldir. Had this idea for a long time and now i can finally bring it to fruition :) I really love gems being the centre piece of the structure? so i wanted to create a tree that could encompass it and being able to play with the shilouette of the tree is such an amazing experience as i referenced alot of very wildly shaped trees around the world. For the stone sturctures i wanted to make it gem-shaped or polygonal as i feel it could fit with the shape language of the entire scene.
